1. Visit Pura Paluan Temple

This temple is totally different from others that you could find in Bali. From its architecture of the building, especially Pelinggih (shrine car that’s believed as the symbol of place of god as its manifestation) which uses car as a model. Most local people call this temple as Pura Paluang and still being used to practice sacred ritual ceremony.

2. Snorkle Through Underwater Temple Garden

In Nusa Lembongan you could find a really rare spot of snorkle. It’s an underwater temple garden which has a number of unique Buddha statues that have been submerged. These statues have become home to a variety of coral life and fish, making the entire experience even more exciting. You won’t be disappointed as you’ll have the chance to snorkel with a beautiful manmade 2.5-meter-tall (8.2 ft) statue of Buddha in the middle of several stupas!

How to find the underwater Buddha? There are daily boats from Sanur or Padang Bai to the islands of Nusa Lembongan or Penida. Coming from the Mangrove Center on Nusa Lembongan one would enter the channel between Lembongan and Ceningan, it is near the end of the Ceningan Island on the north end. (The Buddha is facing North)

3. Canyoning Tours

Never heard about this thing before? Yeah, in Bali you could do this type of adventure, and of course it’s perfect for you who love to play with adrenaline.

4. Learn Mepantigan martial art in the mud

Traditional act of combining Balinese martial art, fire dance, drama and music is the meaning of Mepantigan. Before they get into the sludge, the participants have to learn proper techniques on how to attack, to pin down their opponents and to fall safely. FYI, playing in the mud can lift your mood.

5. Shopping at Kumbasari Art Market

The Kumbasari Art Market is one of Denpasar’s iconic market. Located right across the Badung River, on the opposite of the Badung Traditional Market. It is the largest market in Bali and acts as a sort of flea market for many island goods.
