Yes we know it’s still midweek, but don’t you deny that your mind and soul are ready for the weekend, right? Either you in holiday time or currently living in Bali, the weekend will always be the perfect time to explore this island. For you who want to spend the best weekend ever, we have some recommendation that might give you insight about what to do in this island of gods. (Psstt, better do it with group of friend)
1. Learn to surf
Even Bali is famous for its surfing spot, but not all of the tourist who come already pro in this water sport. There is an option for you to learn how to enjoy the waves, one of local surf school that you can join is Bali Green Surf. The students get to experience all of Bali’s best surf spots and a lot of fun with the local surf instructors. Moreover, Bali Green Surf supports less privileged children by donating half of the profit to Balinese orphanages.
2. Jim Jefferies The Night Talker Tour
Known as an Australian stand-up comedian, Jim Jefferies has brought laughter across the world, alongside his stand-up he is known for his work in American television, creating and starring in the FX sitcom Legit from 2013–2014 and Comedy Central’s late-night comedy The Jim Jefferies Show since 2017. 3. Canyoning at North Side of Bali
One of best adventure that you can do this weekend in Bali is canyoning. It’s a sport that uses many different techniques to descend a river course, maily rope techniques (rappel), jumps, slides and swims. 4. Spend the Australia Day
There is no secret anymore that a lot of Australian love to spend their holiday in Bali or even life and build a family here. For you who will spend this weekend in Bali and celebrate the Australia Day, you might go to OMNIA Bali. Save the date!
5. Beach Runwalk
Every Saturday join the group of locals, expats and tourists to run or walk a free timed 5km out along the picturesque Sanur Coastline just as the sun is rising, great way to start your weekend. Registration is from 5:45am from Genius Cafe, walkers go 6:00am and runners go 6:15am.
